Our youth group met at a local coffee shop for their weekly gathering. Many of those that attend are Islamic background and did not grow up in Christian families so they have little to no biblical knowledge or understanding. Each meeting we have a short teaching and the youth take turns reading scripture together and discussing it. During this meeting we read the story in Genesis 22 of Abraham sacrificing Isaac and discussed the topic of “surrender”.
