Our team and volunteers distributed meals to four families and visited their homes in some of the poorer suburbs of Beirut. It was an honor to fellowship and pray over them. All of these families have severe needs and no means to meet them. Some of these needs include children with special medical needs and no money for medication, a grandmother caring for her three orphaned grandchildren alone, a family having to send their daughter away to a boarding school in the mountains because they can not afford to pay the local school fees. Just as much as food meets some of their practical needs, we visit homes to listen to their stories and needs as a way of ministering to their mental and emotional needs.
